Hello,

I would like to announce that SURFnet has published a white paper on implementing DNSSEC validation on caching recursive name servers. The target audience are IT decision makers who need to decide whether or not to deploy DNSSEC validation. To make it of immediate use we have also included appendices with instructions on how to configure common name server software.

Although we have published this paper for our connected institutions (academia & research in The Netherlands), I think it may be of use to the wider Internet audience.

The white paper is released under a Creative Commons By Reference licence. Anyone interested in re-using (some of) the material can contact me, I can supply the original source document.

The paper can be downloaded here: http://www.surfnet.nl/Documents/DeployingDNSSECvalidationv10.pdf

Best regards,

Roland
