Seconds after seeing Paul's message I was handed this "hot bulletin"
to use in responses:
* In October, Neustar received approval from the US Department of
Commerce to implement DNSSEC in the .US ccTLD.
* Over the last few months, Neustar finalized our implementation and
completed testing, and this week we finished distributing the signed
* On Tuesday 12/8, we began announcing the signed .US zone, so it's
now visible to external queries.
* We plan to make a formal public announcement early next week.
Because we are a publicly traded company, I'll not have more to say
until the formal announcement next week.
For my edification - what else would there be to say? If there's
something to cover, maybe we can work it into the announcement or
something that follows.
