DRAFT AGENDA

 -- Short Reports (10 minutes)

    * Fall technical/interop meeting - Allison Mankin

    * DNSSEC performance - Can NIST take the lead?

 -- Secure Entry Point (SEP) management

    This relates to three of our document deployment issues:

     2. Timing of signing the root zone and/or management of islands of
        trust
     3. Root key rollover and distribution
     4. Trust anchor key rollover and distribution

    Both Paul Vixie and Sam Weiler distributed documents and pointers to
    other references on the mailing list. Everyone is asked to review
    these documents in preparation for a detailed discussion.

    There has been a good discussion on our mailing list, as well as
    others (notably namedroppers).

    Although this issue has been discussed quite a bit in other fora, no
    resolution has been forthcoming. This issue affects deployment and
    thus it is within our charter to press for a resolution, either
    within this group or wherever it is most appropriate.
