Jaap Akkerhuis noted that NL Netlabs had a simulation of CPU and
storage requirements for DNSSEC. Jaap agreed to get some material
on the NL Netlabs activities for review.
It turns out that there is less available then I thought. There is
a talk about adding DNSSEC support in nsd which also makes comments
about the resources in general dnssec needs (by the server) and has
some measurements comparing performance with and without dnssec,
but the with/without dnssec comparison is for nsd only (See
http://www.ripe.net/ripe/meetings/ripe-47/presentations/ripe47-dn-dnssec-nsd.pdf)
I had hoped to do some new measurements in cluding bind comparisons
in the 4 weeks mentioned above, but my day job got in the way.
And remember, as said before, Olaf has some decent numbers in his
introduction course.
