Call for Papers

ISSE 2005

Information Security Solutions Europe conference
27-29 September 2005, Budapest, Hungary

Hosted by
The Hungarian Ministry of Informatics

Organised by
ENISA, The European Network and Information Security Agency,
eema -The Independent European Association for e-Business,
and
TeleTrusT -The Association for the Promotion of Trustworthiness of
IT-Systems

Supported by the German Ministry of Economics and Labour

ISSE is the only independent, European focused conference for the
presentation and discussion of technical, commercial, organisational,
legal and political concepts for information security and data
protection.

The focus of ISSE is on security as a part of business processes
and electronic transactions.

One of the biggest challenges today is to manage security in
applications: issues like return on investment, total cost of
ownership, risk management as well as interoperability are of great
importance. In 2005 ISSE will focus on real live examples and case
studies from different business sectors and fields: eGovernment and
public sector, health care, eBusiness, financial sector and enterprise
security.

TOPICS

The submissions should be original research results, survey articles
or case studies, and position papers. Product placement is unacceptable.

For ISSE 2005 we are especially interested in the following topics:

o Identity Management & Identity Federation
 o Web Service Security
 o Mobile/Wireless/Embedded Security
 o Trusted Computing
o Privacy & Data Protection, Cyberspace Regulations
 o Biometrics
o From Perimeter to End-to-End Security
 o Secure Computing
o Economics of Security, Case Studies and Projects
o Risk Management, Compliance & Governance
o Smart Tokens, ID-Cards, Case Studies and Projects in Europe

SUBMISSIONS

Presentations at ISSE conferences are invited as well as selected

four).

and full contact details of speaker.
