No worries mate. This is what I remember from Stellar evolution
classes. 

The Sun is just a 1 Solar Mass type star that will never go "Nova". It
will grow to be a giant, in which case it will have a raduis larger
than 1 AU (astronomical Unit, distance earth-sun). That will take
another 4 billion years, roughly 2 orders of magnitude longer than it
will take for DNSSEC to be deployed.
